BRIEF: CREATE 3 DIFFERENT HOME CINEMA ARMCHAIRS AND IMAGINE THE BRAND AND THE VISUAL IDENTITY OF THIS RANGE OF ARMCHAIRS.
I worked on this project independently.
BASIC CHAIR
THE BASIC ARMCHAIR

I proposed a round product to bring softness to the chair. The form was inspired by a cocoon. I wanted to create a place where the user can relax in different positions because the chair adapts easily to the shape of the body (cross-legged, straddling the armrest or classic position). I decided to bring zippers on each side of the chair to add and remove, as desired by the user, a blanket to wrap up in the cocoon. In addition, the materials used enhance the aspect of softness: fabric and wood. Finally, a Scandinavian style which is trendy.

THE LUXURY ARMCHAIR

For this product, I proposed a large armchair which reminds the user of a luxury world which offers total comfort. Curved shapes were used to soften the product. The colour scheme is simple: a look totally black (in leather) or black (leather also) and wood. This proposal appears similar to the «Lounge Chair» of Eames. A minimalist style adaptable for various interiors. Finally, for the maximum comfort, I decided to add a footrest, which can also be used as a bench.

THE SPORT ARMCHAIR

For this last armchair, I used the automotive world for inspiration, especially for materials and shapes. The design consists of curves but also a geometric patterns and shapes offering a dynamic aesthetic. An appearance that the user would also appreciate thanks to its unique central foot. The head support is adaptable to suit a variety of people. The centre of the armchair is covered with leather offering more comfort to the user. It’s the same for the footrest.
